DE-FOA-0001546: MONITOR FIELD TEST SITE PROGRAM

ARPA-E’s MONITOR (Methane Observation Networks with Innovative Technology to Obtain Reductions) program is investing over $30 million in technologies to accelerate the development of low-cost methane sensing systems that have the ability to quantify and locate fugitive methane emissions resulting from the production and transportation of natural gas. In order to evaluate the performance of each MONITOR technology with respect to quantifying and locating fugitive methane emissions, the MONITOR program seeks to develop a robust test site that simulates real-world natural gas wellpad conditions. Specifically, the MONITOR program aims to support operation of a multi-user field test site – including, if necessary, design and construction, of a new test site, or alteration of an existing test site - for use by MONITOR program Awardees.
